8 unterschiedliche Positionen der zeitgenössischen Druckkunst zeigen die Basler Künstlerinnen Mariann Blaser, Sabina Blaser, Brigitte Brunner, Helga Halbritter, Tami Komai, Katharina Rüegg, Senso und Sabina Stucky mit «prints extended».
Aus dem historischen Kontext heraus interpretieren die Künstlerinnen ihre Arbeiten neu – Druckkunst ist interdisziplinär, konzeptuell, installativ und sinnlich.

HUSH for chamber ensemble is a new piece by Megan Adie for an ensemble of paper. Project produced for Edition/Basel 2018. Performed by Ensemble Papier. Each sheet is letterpress printed with a text detailing how to play the instrument, and a few words describing how it might sound. Created, printed, and conducted by Megan Adie. Videography by Margarit Lehmann.

‹HUSH – silence after noise› — EDITION/BASEL 2018

Artists working in intaglio, relief, lithography and letterpress techniques participated at the Druckwerk Printmaking Studio in central Basel, Switzerland, from July 18 to July 29, 2018, concluding with an exhibition at the Basler Papiermühle Museum.
The participating artists were Alejandra Fuentes, Arman Vahanyan, Asli Saglam, Helga Halbritter, Lian Ng, Marcela Avila, Mark Johnsen, Sabina Stucky, Senso Stampa, Sibylle Winkelmann, Megan Adie with Ensemble Paper. Curated by Margarit Lehmann and Megan Adie.

‹La Femme et le TGV›, short film by Timo von Gunten starring Jane Birkin

Elise Lafontaine has a secret routine. Every morning and evening for many years, she has been waving at the express train that passes her house. One fateful day, she finds a letter from the train conductor in her garden and her lonely life is turned upside down.

On the film set Senso took the crane camera shots (e.g. film still above) and footage as a director of photography in the 2nd unit camera team.

La femme et le TGV was nominated for the 89th Academy Award 'Live Action Short Film' and has been awarded the Swiss Film Award 'Best Short Film' 2017.

‹MONEY›, exhibition of the 4th Latgale Graphic Symposium at Mark Rothko Art Centre

The international Latgale Graphic Symposium being the cooperation project between Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Center and The Association of Art Teachers Union, is an international communication platform for the professionals from the whole world working in the field of graphic art and meeting in Daugavpils for the 4th time already.
The message of the symposium exhibition is a story about the transformations of money and its values in time and space, as well as about the presence of graphic artists in the process of their creation. 11 graphic artists develop the theme of money in their works: Anne Louise Blicher, Ann-Kerstina Nielsen (Denmark); Nikumbh Prasad (India); Alberto Balletti (Italy); Ieva Caruka, Dārta Hofmane, Jānis Murovskis, Rūdolfs Matīss Trops, Oksana Vronska (Latvia); Žaneta Jasaityte (Lithuania) and Senso (Switzerland).
